On Friday, September 27, 2024, members of the high school choir went to the University of Olivet for the Gospel Choir Invitational. The students had a fun day spending time together and with other high school students. They learned three different pieces. At the end of the day, they listened to the University of Olivet's Gospel Choir, and then joined them to perform the pieces they had learned. It was a great day!!!
"My Secret Garden"
Mrs. Lossing's 5th hour Students picked their own subjects and the boys picked the tree (photo) - so engaged with the tree, he was still sketching as we were walking back š
Mrs. Lossing was able to show students how Aspens quake and others leaves don't, show the line types that were studied in the leaves; showed the cedars, and the white pine tree to let them know that they don't usually grow that well this far south; and why it was a special place for our area ā the sand. How the plant life growing there isn't something they might see growing in the vernal pond or in their yard, but rather Up North as the soils are different that the soils in Genesee county.
